i'll take ya up on that offer, plan to come the whole weekend and i'll help ya out with hotel and such, p/f/m nats on saturday and then sportsfest on sunday, will be a busy weekend and will need a lot of help! thanks

let me know if you are serious and we'll find you a way to get out here, heck if we can get brandon out here we can get anybody out here, lol, j/k brandon calm down........but if you are thinking about coming, the weekend of 7/17-7/18, that is p/f/m nats and sportsfest strongman weekend, i will need a lot of help that weekend

Tri-State Chase for the Cup Championships (site tbd) - will be before Nats, which ever month that ends up being

The way this will work is there are 7 contests right now that will be eligible for points for the 2010 PA Strongman Cup. For a comp the top 10 LW's (top 5 200 class, top 5 231 class), top 10 HW's(top 5 265, top 5 SHW), and top 3 WM and top 3 MA will qualify for the 2010 Tri-State Championship. This event will be an invitation only event. For the 2010 season there will be an over all points champion for the men and for the women.

Point scoring will go as follows. points available in each division will depend on how many athletes in each division (LW, HW, and WM) at each contest.

Example: if a contest had a 200 and 231 class for LW's, 5 200's and 7 231 class. 5 points would be available in the 200 class and 7 available in the 231 class. First place would get 5 in the 200 class, last 1 point. 7 points available for first place in the 231's, 1 for last place.

This will also be the official thread and where competitors can see where they stand. If there any ties, they will be broken by who had more 1st place finishes. We already have a lot of sponsors on board for the Tri-State Championship, so there will be a lot of great prizes given away there
